I just installed a new horizontal fence and funky gate and am having a hard time choosing what color to stain them. Wood is pretty as is but it won't stay that color. Too much humidity where I live. I attached pics of samples. There are three boards of the same color-one board is one coat, the next is two and the next is three. I am leaning towards the slate. Thank you.
