These empty nester homeowners made the decision to stay in their home vs. downsize and move after 30 years in their home. As their kitchen wasn't living up to it’s potential and was inefficient for their needs, they contracted Sophia Designs.

Sophia's floorpan design involved taking the room down to bare bones, moving windows to provide more light, reworking the floor, and adding built ins for more storage. We chose paint colors and finishes for a classic kitchen. The lit ceilings give the room drama, and lit glass door inserts add to the updated classic look. Custom cabinetry and crown molding were installed while new countertops and hardware were chosen. Sophia designed a fun mosaic for a focal point over the sink. We reconfigured the counter, island and bar dimension heights, chose new furniture, appliances, and light fixtures. The connecting utility room, pantry and vanity were redesigned as well to improve the entire area.

This resulted in a custom kitchen designed for ease and functionality. Our clients enjoy spending time in their beautiful new space whether they are cooking or relaxing!
