I have a tiny room that packs a huge punch. As Pinkie says, we need measurements, info on any dormers, and info on how the door swings.

Also, should have said -- white always maximizes the impression of space, and stacking front loaders will maximize floor space. Beyond that, measurements and some idea of what you'd like to do in room will help. E.G., do you need a laundry sink? Do you soak large things or just rinse delicates? Do you wish to iron in the room?

My laundry room is extremely small. I can't do any more with it at least as long as the cat is alive, since it doubles as her litter box room too. Even if I had that little bit of extra space, I still really wouldn't have room for a shelf since it would block the door to the water heater.
