My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Thank you for the inquiry. The gate was designed by my brilliant wife specifically for this project. The fabricator is no longer in business.

    This is lovely. Where did you locate the stone columns and what kind of stone is it? Also, how did you secure them, i.e., concrete footings? subsurface stone depth 18"? 24"?

    Thank you! The stone columns are made from Cherokee flagstone that was hand chipped. We did not use concrete to set them as the surrounding soil was very compact and stable - the soil was just added back in and compacted with the end of a 2x4 as the hole was filled. They are set into the ground about 36".
