My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Before and sort-of-After (50% Finished)

I posted on Design Dilemma a couple months ago and received many suggestions on what to do with my living room. I took some of those suggestions and updated a few things. Here is the before and after. We are not quite finished (still have to buy a couple of things and paint), but it's getting there! (Please ignore the stuff on the coffee table! I know it's super cluttered!)

      Love it. Love the area rug!! I would pull the chair out a bit and angle it toward the couch.

      Yes that does look great! I like the look of the long curtains then the blinds. The room looks a lot better now and keep going on it as it will get there to your liking. Nice look.

      I'd bring the sofa and chair closer together and not shoved up against the walls....leave some space behind them to pass through

      What a difference. Looks great. I agree with others: Play around with the spacing of the sofa and chair, and try the chair on a angle so it is more in relation to the sofa.
