We're planning a full gut job on our third floor to turn it into our master suite, we have plenty of attic space available so we want to vault the ceiling for the entire floor, our bedroom will be on one side, the bathroom falls in the middle (under the highest point of the peaked roof) and I'm doing a big open closet area on the other side of the bathroom (one 'hall' connecting all three). My dilemma is - what on earth do i do over my bathroom with the ceiling all the way up like that? Do i cap off the walls and basically have it open? Can i build a ceiling just over the shower area? how does that work? Thanks in advance!
