I want to update my kitchen slightly without spending too much money and was looking for ideas and advice on what colors and products to use. I have all new stainless appliances and I stained the floors Jacobean. I think I should paint the cabinets white (but what color white?)and change the hardware- they are currently the "arts and craft" style which I don't like. The eat-in kitchen banquette area needs new fabric- I want to modernize it- a contemporary look. I also think maybe new backsplash above the stove- the green tiles are not great. The green lights I want to change too. I have no idea what to paint the walls after this is all finished too! Thanks!
