White cabinets in children's bathroom

Do any of you have white or light colored cabinetry in your bathrooms? We are building a house and have wanted white cabinetry in our girls' bathroom for as long as I can remember. After sharing an "inspiration" photo to a friend of mine with teenage daughters, she shrieked and tried to convince me not to do it because my kids will ruin the white. I've never had white cabinets but love the look, and so do my kids. My kids are 7 and 4 (both girls) and are not exceptionally messy right now.

Not sure what she means when she said that they ruined the cabinets -- scratches, fingerprints, makeup? Nonetheless, I have not found that to be true, other than the fact that dirt may be more visible on the white cabinets. I feel it provides the opportunity to keep on top of cleaning the grime.
