dichroic glass for shower door

Does any one have experience with using dichroic glass as a glass wall for a shower wall. I see lots of tiles that can be used in with other tiles, but I want a glass wall that is dichroic glass. Any thoughts?

Dichroic glass is pretty much the most expensive kind of glass used by glass artisans. For the most part it's used in jewellery or as small accents in a larger works. It is available as mosaic tile which can give you the sparkle I think you're after. But large sheets of it would be both a safety hazard and prohibitively expensive.

Falling against that could sever an artery. How do you propose to make that safe to use in that application? Do you have an extremely robust budget?

I have no idea the cost. I have no idea the ability to make it safe. Is it possible to make it so it won't sever an artery? I also was thinking to only use it from a waist-high wall up. So an 18 inch by two feet size.

Not really up on the uses for this glass but could you have it layerd with a regular shower glass in front of it where you want to use it, would it still have the same properties
