What type of stone and slab are used in the fireplace? Looks amazing!

    The large stone above the fireplace is mica schist, which is a stone found commonly is the region of Pennsylvania where this home is located. The mica flecks in the stone make it glisten beautifully. The blend of stone surrounding the fireplace is also typical of this area. It was provided by Rolling Rock Building Stone of Boyertown, PA. They are extremely helpful in picking out the appropriate blend of stone for each project.
