Are you quilting this weekend? March 4-6

I hope to do the things I had on my list for last weekend. I didn't get anything done that I planned to do. Instead, I went shopping with DD on Saturday and they came over for dinner on Sunday.

Sami has been sick this week, so watching her has been extra tiring. She has had ear infection and it spread to her eyes. She has meds for it so she is getting better.

I'm going to another quilt show tomorrow, in Mount Dora. :) Then I plan to finish assembling at least the center of my first Quiltville mystery top.

I want to at least get the backing on Aiden's quilt and finish up the small rectangle quiltlet for the military hospital NICU. I cut out the backing fabric for one of 4, maybe 5, Fusion Blankets. I'm working with the fabric part of it and my cousin in Michigan will do the crochet part.....they are for her great-grandgirls. I'm starting out with 5" squares because that is what I have. I plan to use a different color backing for each one so they know which one is theirs.

Not much time for quilting this weekend but I'm getting my HST quilt back from the longarm quilter. So excited.

Finish cutting and then sewing the twisted pieces. Once I started cutting and laying the pieces out I got excited!

I just got home from a week long trip to Dallas. I hope I can relax in the sewing room this weekend. I have loads of stuff to do like laundry, grading exams and other household things, but I still would like to sew some.
