I need some help with furniture layout and also with lighting on my first floor plan. There are two areas I'm looking for help.

The first is the formal sitting area where the fire place is. Right now we are leaning towards not having a TV above the fire place and just making it a nice relaxing area and give the fire place the focal point. Obviously you'll be able to see the kitchen walking in the door too as the floor is completely open.

I'm also looking for help in the large open area where I've put the TV right now. The dining room and living room will need to blend together. Right now there's almost too much open space.

The doors and windows are not totally to scale but everything else (the walls, cabinets, island location, fireplace and closets) are.
