Small vase shaped shrub suggestions

Hi I am a landscaper and I have been having a hard time thinkng of the right plant for a planter at a clients house. Basically we are looking for something In the 4 ft in height range that is no more than 3 or 4 ft wide. We are hoping for something in more of a vase like form where it is narrow at the base and bushier at the top.
