Anyone else have these ants? They are bigger than regular little black ants, they bite, and they do not like sweets. They prefer protein like canned cat food. Once I found that out, I mixed boric acid with cat food, but they refused it then. Bait stations do nothing.

If you go near their area, they will crawl up your legs and later bite you on the neck or wherever. When you smash them, they have a bad smell. They are active already this year. I think our whole area is infested. Sometimes they bite the dog when he lies in the grass.

I've used Raid, and it works, but I really would prefer something more natural.
