Hard to help when you haven't provided pics of the room, but just the furniture. Do you have windows, chandeliers, what are your chairs?

Those should be good with the new table. They are quite formal for a dining area rather than a dining room. Some ideas:

Mixing it up with smaller chairs on the sides with two uphostered chairs for the heads of the table would be fitting. Whatever you choose make sure they are comfortable to sit in.

what area rug color would you recommend please?

We have the white version of the black chairs in the picture above and a dark table like yours and similarly coloured flooring. I really like how it all comes together. It looks modern, clean and nice but is also family friendly as easily wiped clean

Just group some things together for a starting point. Taller host chairs little different from side chairs. Chandelier , rug and art. Don't know what colors or style you like. With more information can find some different "stuff"

color I'm open to ideas. Style I like contemporary to transitional.
