I have both. I used mid continent in my guest bath and kraftmaid in my master bath. I would say quality of paint finish is slightly better on Kraftmaid. I would have bought Mid Continent for my master but I did not like the cabinet layout for my space so I went with Kraftmaid in master. Mid Continent is good value for the money and honestly it is tough to tell the difference between the two. My cabinet installer does a lot of installs on both thought the Mid Continent and Kraftmaid and thinks the quality is pretty similar. I looked at Merillat but thought it looked cheap and plasticy...i.e. I did not like the quality of the paint. I used white shaker style in both bathrooms.

One of the Mid Continent shipped in with a slight gouge. Damage in transit. There was no problem getting replacement door shipped in.
