Outdoor help

We have this narrow area on the right of our walkway that we don't know what to do with. We removed very overgrown shrubs a couple of years ago, also recently removed the lighting as well as the large grass on the left. This area receives very little sun. Ideas? Also, I would like to tie the look together with something on the left side too -which is larger and gets some sun.
