Your home will look bigger and better if you have as much of one kind of flooring in these 3 areas as is possible. My first choice would be hardwood flooring. It's been fashionable for centuries. Carpeting has increased in price so much in the last few years that I hate to see people using it because by the time they replace it once or twice, they could have paid for hardwood flooring which would last for decades.
