Are you quilting this weekend? April 1-3

Did you do any sewing this week? I finally started the baby quilt for my grandson who is due April 17. I am using the colors requested by my DIL, which are blue, green, gray and white. I will applique three elephants on a white panel too.

Having to finish the baby quilt is my motive to quilt the Allietare quilt that is loaded on my frame. So that is my weekend goal. Are you quilting or sewing this week?

I have a small tumbler quilt top in the works so I'm hoping to at least finish that. It's a design in progress so I'm not quite sure what else will finish it up - and what size it will grow to be by the time it's ready to sandwich. If I could just decide on something and stick with it!!!!!! I just get too many ideas all at the same time.

I'm taking my mom to a quilt show tomorrow. Sunday I think I'll start on the stole for my friend who is being ordained in June.

have some 'border' placemats to piece (9 pieces to each top) and then sandwich and quilt. going to try some FMQ, I think, or quilting using stencils...not sure yet. My dining room table is the workroom, at the moment. No big dinners this weekend!! LOL The fabric is 'Feather your Nest' ...birds n flowers! I fell in love at first sight.

Put binding on the Sweetheart Twister wall hanging. Just waged and ironed the May block lotto fabric and will probably get it cut this weekend. Get borders on the Star Wars zipper quilt for my great nephew, his birthday is fast approaching! That's a lot for this weekend, I should be posting this on the April sewing goals! LOL!

Since last weekend I have finished quilting 4 small charity quilts and have another one sandwiched. I hope to get the one that is sandwiched quilted and finished this weekend. We have dinner theater tonight and friends coming over tomorrow night, so that cuts into sewing time. I may have time Sunday afternoon to get the borders on my One Fish/Two Fish quilt and get it sandwiched. Gosh - that sounds ambitious!

All the blocks are done for a baby quilt, now to sew the rows together. I'm hoping to complete the top and sandwich, in between household chores, grocery shopping and maybe, if the weather cooperates, start yard clean up activity.

Finished the last six blocks for the sampler and sewed the binding to the front of the log Cabin. A good morning's work. Tomorrow I will start hand sewing the binding.

Now I am having a little rest.
