I am looking to replace a vanity in a bathroom on my deck which has a louvered exterior door. Do I need to be concerned about the type of material that the vanity is made out of because of the humidity? There is no shower in the room nor is there any type of ventilation other than the louvered door. There is an old vanity in there that is in rough shape and has some mildew on the inside. Not sure if that is due to normal wear and tear because of the louvered door or because something happened and water was left in there for a long period of time as i just bought the house a few months ago.
