Help with choosing flooring material in high/fluctuating humidity!

I am looking to replace laminate (and hard wood incorrectly installed) flooring that I believe has a mold or water issue ( because it smells mildew/mold and no matter what I've done it will not go away and the hardwood areas are dramatically bowed, even when temps and humidity have been lower)
Yes, I will be addressing where the water or moisture is coming from, and hopefully finding and fixing...
I have read pros and cons of using laminate, vinyl, bamboo or engineered hardwood. I will be using tile in the bathrooms and laundry areas, but I won't use for entire condo.

I don't plan on this being my forever home, at least for the next 5 years, so trying to decide on the best solution of resale and what is the least likely to warp or have issues with high humidity ( or fluctuating humidity). I'd really like to not have to replace flooring more than once!

What have you found the best material? The worst? Please comment! Would love to read your experience! Also, I'm located in the charleston sc area, if you have a local flooring person/company, please share!
