Help picking house colors: Sherwin Williams Paint

Hello! We are building a home and I am driving myself crazy over the exterior paint colors. We can have up to 4 colors, 1 for body, trim, accent and door. I don't know that I want to use 4 different colors but I might if it looks good. Also, I really want a red door. I like Sherwin Williams Anonymous and Gauntlet Gray but I am not opposed to lighter colors. I don't love beige for the exterior though.

I have to choose from Sherwin Williams Paint. Here is a picture of the house we are building. I will also post a photo of a house which has a lovely color scheme (but only two colors). Could I get away with only two colors for this style?

Here is a color I like

Any help I can get will be appreciated. Thank You!

My home is gauntlet gray and I love the color. My trim is bright white with a black door and shutters. A red door with gauntlet would look fabulous. The gray is the perfect dark, without feeling gloomy color for me. I saved a few homes with that color and really like it.

Thank you Suse Biggestfan. I really do love gauntlet gray so I'm glad to hear you say its not too dark and gloomy.

I also could pick up to 4 color. the house behind me did that with the gauntlet gray. I did not. I'm more of a simple straight line kind of girl though. I can she a color of both of the home if you would like to see.

I would love that! I like the simple look too. It is hard for me to visualize the paint color on the house just by swatches from the store.
