Help with dining room chair/table combo

I have plans to purchase this 72" round pedestal table for my dining room but I'm having trouble finding 8 relatively affordable chairs to place around it. My style is a more on the contemporary side but I still love traditional pieces and the industrial/reclaimed style that is so popular these days.

My first question is, are these leather chairs pictured below not substantial enough to place around the table? Or does their style not fit well enough with the style of the table? There would be 8 chairs and a 72" round table is maxing out my 12x12 room so wondering if they'd still be okay.

Any suggestions would be welcome!

6 chairs would be so much better. If you have 5 people on a regular basis, then you still have an empty chair at every meal. Depends on how often you need 8 chairs, you have little space in room to keep 2 extra chairs. If it were me, I would use folding chairs for extra people. The kids can sit on them with booster seats.

You need 2' all around the table for the chairs with a 72" you will only have a foot to get around table when people are siting at it. Why such a large table? I don't think those chairs are complementary to the table

I think they are not substantial enough for that table. Normally, with that table I would use a linen chair.

Wouldn't I have 3' all around? I'd like to be able to sit 8 comfortably and I think a round table would work best for the room size and shape. I also like the look of a linen chair but I have three small children. I'm afraid dirty hands and faces would be brushing up against them and to custom order a more durable linen would be way over my budget. If you have any idea where I could find that I'd love to know where!

What about some tailored slip covered chairs that could be removed and washed? Restoration Hardware has a great collection and they even come in indoor/outdoor fabrics by Perennials. Ballard designs also has some good options. They are still very clean and simple but will compliment the table as well.

IMO 8 chairs around that table in a 12 x1 2 room will be way too much visually how about ghost chairs you can even do them in colors

I would absolutely love ghost chairs but think finger prints from little kids would be too much to handle. I'm starting to think I should do 6 chairs around the table for every day and have 2 on hand for company.

As for the perennials fabric at RH...I love it and had it priced out. Unfortunately too much for what I want to spend.
