I think 3 and 6 are too "finicky" for the house. I'd probably go for 2.

1st one. They correspond with the windows and unify the whole design. The second that could be taken into the mind would be the 5th as they correspond with the garage at least - however that could turn the design of the whole house more as a garage that a house = therefore the 1st one are the best choice. Any other would broke the overall design because it would be the 3th ever design made to one house.

Definitely number 1.

I'm going with the majority for #1 since I do not like any of them.

I can agree that #1 works because of the rectangular glass, but considering the options presented, I'd choose door #4. The rail / stile proportions are better and it could also be argued that the window configurations on the house are in groups of two, much like the lites on the door. However, if a full lite option is available, that would be my first choice.

#1, second choice would be #5. I understand the appeal of the full glass option presented by Bev and suggested by Kelley, but I would not want that for my front door for security and energy efficiency reasons. I would suggest, if you are going to have storm/screen door in front, that that door be as much glass as possible.

I think I would go with a solid door and forget the putzy small glass.

I think that #1 and #4 have very clean, simple lines - that would tend to be consistent with modern design. Of those two - I would say that #4 may go well with the symmetry of your house. I am basing this on some knowledge of architectural design, and modern design - but it is only an opinion (one of many, here).

I don't know if you have found an answer as to what style #3 is - and perhaps the manufacturer can guide you with some more information - or direct you to a reliable source of information. Perhaps you can consult with some architects on this.

Looking at the house and the porch fence, I can see the connection of design with #3 door, as well; I understand it. I think it works. I actually think it brings some interesting style to the house. But the bottom line is: It doesn't matter what I think - or what anyone thinks; this is 'your' door - and if #3 resonates with you, then that is what you should go with. There is nothing written in stone about what 'is' or 'is not' consistent with modern design, etc. This is your house - and your front door.

I would choose no. 1 top left. It is most like the windows. Also a large single pane is nice.
