Sinkology copper sinks are made of 99.9% pure copper.
While there is no federal regulation for lead content of copper sinks,
Sinkology is dedicated to providing the most pure copper product
possible. On January 2014, the “Safe Drinking Water Act” established the
definition for “Lead Free”. This national mandate requires every pipe, fixture
and fitting contain less than 0.25% lead by weight to be deemed “Lead Free.”
Our sinks, on average, contain 25 times less lead (0.01%) than products allowed
by the “Safe Drinking Water Act.”
