The old concrete was etched and stained with an acrylic and sealer but didn't hold up well so we've removed the old stain and would like to re-cover but worry that oil based will be too slippery. Is epoxy an option for outdoors? Also note from the attached photo that the concrete is very dark and lots of texture. Second is our kitchen area is exposed and we'd like to cover it but aren't sure what direction to go. The existing outdoor room is a steel structure riveted into the concrete and it would have to be something complimentary to that. Budget is also a consideration.
