      It is red brick white washed with grout.

      Yes, it would just depend on the application and the amount of white wash desired.

      Just beautiful! Was the brick treated or sealed? We are planning a remodel and I want a brick backslash so much, but am concerned about cooking spatter stains and how to clean it.

      We did not install this backsplash, so we do not know if the installers treated or sealed the brick prior to the grout whitewash.
