Beautiful bathroom! This is a palace compared to my very small bathroom. Anyway, since white goes with about anything, white paint and cabinets will look great with the tile and other colors in the bathroom. Just look at the wood work trim since it's already painted white. To soften the look, you may want an off white for the walls because you may end up with too much white, which starts to look clinical. I would have to get help myself for replacing your counter tops. I'm sure someone else can help you with that.

if you are trying to save cash i would pull the vanities and cabinets. a good primer and wagner sprayer will help turn them white, new pulls as well. you can always take to an auto body shop for a new finish. you do not have much flooring so that will be a minimal expense. look at longer more rectangle marble look porcelain tiles. look at formica 180 fx to cover the vanity tops or go marble. remember marble stains and is very soft.

Thank you for all the comments! We definitely need a lot of improvements done to this bathroom. Does anyone have any photos to share with this same tile, with different color countertops? I want to paint the cabinets white, but now I am thinking white may not look right with the brown tile. Thoughts?

Also, I agree with the comment above regarding there is not that much floor tile. Pulling it up is a possibility for sure. But, what color would go with the remaining tile we cannot redo? That is where we are having difficulties.

Tell me that isn't a mirror reflecting the tub but just bad photoshop! You can tackle the bathroom in stages as budget allows. But if you are replacing the vanities you will need to change out your floor tile at the same time. Or else have the added expense of having them removed/disconnected again when it comes time for the floor. Something to think about.

No its not a mirror just the reflection of the tub on the glass of the shower. Definitely we will pull the tile up after we remove the vanities, we just don't know what color of tile to use with the rest of the remaining tile. We don't have the option of redoing the tub tile or shower tile. :(
