I agree with leaving the portion over the door white. Maybe just add a much bigger entry light, and paint the front door and add funky house numbers and a chair as color zen suggested. I would also pull out the hedge and do some better landscaping. As far as the garage, can you paint the whole thing an earthy color (like a taupey-gray) so that it blends more into the landscaping? You've got an awful lot of concrete there, why so much I wonder? All that being said, I think your house is absolutely adorable and with a few changes could be stunning!

The concrete is as wide as the 2.5 car garage :/ Are you saying I should paint the brick front of the garage? Or just the sided area above the garage door? I was originally thinking I should make it match how I did the front of the house....

Can we see on full on shot of the garage? I can't really get a feel for it in the pics above...

Thanks for the pic. I definitely wouldn't paint the brick, just take the top triangle back to white to match the house. Not sure about the door, that's an awfully big expanse of white. Hopefully some others who are better with color will chime in : ))

Yes that peach is awful and it needs new lights on the sides of the garage door as well.

I like the idea of the gray or a taupe. Here are some mock ups with teal or yellow doors.

You need to pull colors from the brick and use them or complimentary colors for the siding and trim. Teal is not complimentary; it is a cool color and your brick color is warm. You could do a grey that has a green or red undertone. Revere Pewter by Benjamin Moore would be a safe bet. Check out Ravishing Red by Ben Moore for the front door, would be very showy. This is not your brick but I think the green could work.

We agree - keep the siding white (eliminate the peach) and add bold color to the front door....

Agree with puremichigan to pull colors from the brick - no wacky bright colors.
