Drapes

I have this window, like the holdbacks/knobs, can you explain how the drapes are made and how they are attached at the too?

Thanks in advance! Beautiful treatments!

Drapes are tied to the 4.5" medallions with fabric ties. This is a two-tone treatment made from gold / ivory duppioni silk, interlined and lined. The gold portion of the drapes embellished with 8" bullion fringe on the top and the leading edge. The Ivory portion has a 2" decorative band on its leading edge to match the bullion fringe. Both portions are attached to each other at the leading edge of the gold fabric ( ivory section is tucked into the side hem of a gold section and then pressed against it, it creates a false effect of a double layered treatment). The pattern on the top is cut out according to the shape of the window and a position of the medallions. Pleat is usually 8" and the space is double or more of the measurement between your medallions ( depends on how much you want it to droop ). The pattern image attached below. I hope this helps.... :)
