We are looking to put in a pebble floor as a border in our large shower and then as an accent surrounding the freestanding tub. The pebbles we are looking at come in both traditional pebbles and flat. Pros vs. cons of one style over the other? I figure that with the raised pebbles we will either love them or risk the chance be annoyed every time we step on them if they are more bumpy than we think they will be, or more slippery, etc. Any issues of clean-ability? Any thoughts/insights to share?

One possible compromise that we were thinking was to do the flat pebbles in the shower where we are standing, but to do the raised around the tub (separate area of the bathroom).
