Need tree selection for screening from neighbors

Hi - I have new neighbors who like to hang out on their upper deck and look down into my yard and garden. It is somewhat unnerving - when I am outside with friends in the yard - to have this audience peering down on us! I already have a nice border of spruces and hardwoods but the spruces are only about 6' which doesn't screen their deck and the hardwood canopies are too tall to help. I want something that will grow quickly to about 20' and stay there or tolerate pruning. The site gets about 4 hours of sun each day, some in the early morning and an hour or 2 mid-day. It's well-drained but reasonably moist. The trees will have to rise up over the spruces. I think I'll need 2-3 trees to accomplish what I need. Thanks.

Sounds too shady for the spruces. But for understory trees, redbuds and Viburnum prunifolium are nice.

But since we have no idea where you are, these trees may be totally inappropriate for you.

I have a row of Thuja Green Giant. Totally blocks the neighbors tennis court.

Gardening zone would help with suggestions.

Here's what I did to screen neighbors. I planted pine trees in a fashion that gave them time to grow but also shielded us for privacy. X X X X X

That was over 15 years ago. We now have an awesome screen. The back row of trees we let grow to the ground with branches. The front row we trimmed up branches.

Computer keeps correcting the spacing of trees for some reason. The space in between back row of trees is then planted with a front row of trees to make for a faster, fuller screen.
