Japanese knotweed for dinner

Since so many of us have battled this plant from hell, I thought you'd enjoy the fact that last night we were out to dinner, and one of the items on the menu was "Roasted asparagus, grilled & pickled mushroom, japanese knotweed". Of course in a fit of revenge I ordered it. Baby knotweed leaves were the garnish (very attractively red-veined), and while I can't say they tasted of much, the overall dish was delicious. Perhaps if this catches on, we can get the food world to dig up our plants!
