We have a home with a walk-out basement which is covered by an existing deck. The upper (or only) deck needs to be re-done and we are wanting to extend it so it will cover 2/3 of the back of our house. My concern is that the back of our house is symmetrical and I'm wondering what this will do to the appearance of the back of the house. Does anyone have any opinions as to how good/bad it would look if we re-do our deck to only cover 2/3 of the back of our house?
