Apparently this one has won awards, but I prefer simpler. Maybe lemongrass and chocolate. Depends on roof and window colors too. Your roof looks gray and the windows seem to be mixed - some match the roof and trim, others look dark like bronze or chocolate. Try chocolate windows, lemongrass trim and chocolate on the shingles.

Hello, I really like this dark red trim on the pale green house, but I think it would look wonderful with your Bryant gold as well.

I would go with a darker charcoal perhaps on the trim that demarcates the shingled area fro the siding area and around the gables and eaves of the house. So colours would be bryant gold, dark rich red and charcoal. It would give lots of definition to the different sections of the exterior. This is also an opportunity to add shutters to your home for more definition

decoenthusiaste, Our roof is dark gray. The storm window frames are a nice deep bronze. This house is more ornate than hours--we need to go simpler with a maximum of two colors, I think. Pondering Princeton Gold (a lively olive) for window frames and top of shingles, with accents of Auburn Russet.

elainesteinke, that is a great red. Not sure about charcoal as we have battle ship green now and it makes me feel a little mournful. I think I want definition as you suggest but a bit brighter. No $ in budget for shutters (paying for college).

This is my all time favorite exterior. Love the fish scale shingles and your house has those! Love!

Consider nuetral color inside window coverings.. I see pink!. Not kind to the yellow-gold

Ben Moore Bryant gold is beautiful here. If you are changing the gray green trim, consider an eggplant tone for your darkest element .. I'd suggest bm kalamata http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/kalamata#ce_s=kalamata . .grappa is a few LRV deeper if you want the violet to come on more slowly ..

Dark enough to provide contrast, but provides a quiet punch.

I'd stick with the paler yellow in the gables but if you want another layer . . .add an accent of apple green on some of the smallest details. Deep purple on the big trim pieces? I worry that the house is too simple to tolerate that degree of contrast, and thought to use something closer to Bryant Gold, like Princeton Gold on window frames and to replace the current olive trim. But I love that Kalamata. Also, is there another light color you would suggest for the gables? I don't think it goes well with the gold.

Great house! I love Queen Anne's because there are so many possibilities on how the exterior can be painted. I just looked up Bryant Gold on BM's website and they suggest Monteray White and Natural Linen for complimentary colors. One of those would be perfect for the gables!

For trim, you can do a more muted violet brown or violet gray shade - the first kalamata is better as an accent than full on ..try bm mountain ridge for the sort of muted sunset color .. http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/mountainridge or try dark basalt . .http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/darkbasalt 

You might be very happy with a sort of soft dove gray against the strong yellow and use the brighter plum as the minor accent .. . . on an exterior that might be something like bm whale gray . . http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/whalegray#ce_s=whale gray . .very pretty with the golds

You could also go to a muted navy as a main trim, you want a dark like bm wescott navy . .. . but as an accent highlight, bm midnight navy is very deep but bright - has that purple undertone so would be nice with whale gray in small doses on braces and rosettes . . .http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/midnightnavy
