Hi Everyone!

What you see here is my final furniture project, a curved dressing vanity. this piece was designed and constructed by me for my sisters. They have always wanted more room for their makeup and cosmetics so I thought it will be great piece of furniture to make for them. Now the big dilemma I face is, what should be the appropriate finish for the entire cabinet . I have several options, I can either clear varnish the whole piece, stain it to get a darker texture then varnish it. Or Instead I can paint it a totally different color. My sisters want the whole piece to be white washed but I don't know whether that will suit the wood grain. Can I please have more suggestions? The wood I have used is Tasmanian Oak. I hope you guys have some bubbly ideas to share.
