This professional couple wanted to take the 80's oak kitchen and bring new life into their kitchen. They achieved this in loads and buckets with brightness, increased storage and a generous entertaining space around an island that has warmth and functionality.

These old cabinets with plenty of lighting in the bulkhead served them well for many years. Initially the clients wanted to keep the bulkhead but made a late minute change which they where so glad they had.

With plenty of drawers and added storage, the clients also opted for a corner cook top along with built in oven and microwave near by. Great counter working space nearby allows for little hands to help when the grandchildren come over for a visit.

The bulkhead restricted storage options and gave the sense that the ceiling was much lower than it was.

The full floor to ceiling cabinetry opened up the space big time.

Wine and glass storage adds a beautiful compliment to the kitchen and helps transition it to the dining/entertaining area.
