    Hello Sandra,

    This pendant lamp comes with a 15 1/2' long cloth covered cord with a plug end and can be plugged into any electrical socket. If you would like to attach the pendant directly to a ceiling outlet box you can perchase our canopy kit and adjust the wiring to the height of your choice.
