I would go with connected peninsula or mobile cart. I like the mobile cart layout because it brings the fridge more into the natural work area. As long as you had lockable wheels on the cart, I don't see it as a safety issue

I voted for the connected cart. I have a G-shaped kitchen today, and I am removing the peninsula altogether as part of my remodel. I am putting in a mobile cart, but its 250 lbs and has locking wheels... I think without the peninsula, you will have a nice open space. In your renderings, your space feels more constricted with both forms of peninsula. My 2 cents.

#2 but switch Ovens with fridge, because your fridge is really too far from sink and cooking space.

I am concerned about your space when coming in from the right in both your peninsula models. Your laundry area is stair stepped out toward the kitchen. So, how much walking area do you have between that and the peninsula if you have people sitting in the chairs ? That's why I think it feels tight. And coming in from that direction, you are forced to hook a corner ; it feels more like an obstacle. I think your mobile cart gives you your functionality and open space.
