It could be a number of colors, but it looks similar to mine. We used Fusion Pro, color Platinum. You can't tell from the pictures, but our tile is very bright white.

My guess would be platinum or 'silver shadow'

Bill Vincent and Avanti Tile: while I have both of you - Do you recommend using epoxy grout? Or is that really only important if you're using white grout?

I don't believe in epoxy for residential use, except in certain circumstances. Especially with the stain resistance from the newest generation cement grouts, it just isn't worth the exorbitant money it costs to use it.

I agree, and have become fond of some of the new generation of Single Component grouts. Good example is Fusion Pro.

Sorry, guys, one more question. Is one brand better than the other? I can get the Mapei, Laticrete or Polyblend. Any preferences?

Fusion Pro is in Home Depot and made by CBP, the same folks that make Polyblend....a regular grout (unlike Fusion Pro) no better or worse than any other regular-type grout. If you go that route, I prefer Laticrete products.

Thanks so much for that quick response. My contractor is telling me we need to get a grout additive as well...but the reviews I've read (of all of them) are terrible. Is that actually necessary?

No grout additive needed, ALL of them already HAVE additives in them, and you run a risk if you use another product that you may get an adverse reaction. And guaranteed, you'll lose any warranty from the grout manufacturer.

As for rec's, all three are good, but I like Laticrete..
