Can you tell me what material this beautiful sink is made of? Also, will it eventually show smudge marks or lose its sheen?

Hi there, thank you for your question regarding the Blanco Drop-In Double Bowl Sink. The sink is made of a patented, composite material called SILGRANITE II that will never lose its sheen over time or with use. I hope this sink will suit your needs!

It's Silgranit and it should last just like this for a very long time. SILGRANIT consists of 80% natural granite. The granite is combined with an acrylic matrix, ceramic and colour pigments to give it its unbeatable characteristics. This is a composite sink manufactured from 80 percent granite and cast in a single pouring. Unlike natural granite, granite composite is not porous. That means it resists stains, is safe for all foods and, according to Blanco, is fully hygienic.
