Hayward pool heater LO code help

Just moved into a house with inground pool a few weeks ago. About a week ago I noticed heater went into service mode. I took the cartridge filter out and cleaned it off with my house because I read it's having flow problems. After I put filter back in it worked fine for about a day. I tried cleaning the filter two more times an still service mode. So I figured I may need a new filter. So I left the filter out, ran the heater, again it worked but for only a few hrs. So it definitely can't be a dirty filter. Any suggestions what I should do next?
