Hi, thanks for your inquiry! This floor is our Character Select Heart Pine and does not have a stain, just finished with a clear poly. This is the natural color of Heart Pine. The boards are a combination of vertical and flat sawn grains. It is characterized by gold, yellow and soft orange color variation, along with knots, nail holes and ferrous staining. Heart Pine is much harder than the name might suggest and wears almost as well as oak. We sell it as solid flooring, solid plank paneling, and timbers (as available).
