Bathroom accessories

I don't want towel bars in my new bathroom, instead I'd like to use hooks to hang towels. Most hooks I see are designated as robe hooks and look too short to hold a fluffy towel. Has anyone used used hooks, and if so how effective are they? Thanks in advance.

We have used hooks in lieu of towel bars on many projects. There are lots of hook options beyond robe hooks and all available in finishes to match your metal trims. One of my favorites is a hook that screws to the bottom of a shelf. Hang towels and store bath accessories or decorative objects with one piece.

we used robe hooks for bath towels, hand towels and robes. they really do stay on for us.
