Thanks, it does appear more green.....so hard to photo colors correctly. I apologize if this has already been answered earlier in the thread, but what is your sink? I too want a large, deep single bowl and was thinking stainless, but...again, yours looks great and without the stainless care.......any chance it has an off center drain..ie back corner left or right?

We have Cambria Berwyn in our showroom. It is a beautiful quartz product with may tones gray and white. I do not see any green tones at all.

thanks...in some samples I've noticed a goldish/olive green, but apparently it is not in all or the product has changed over time....

Waterview.....I'm in FLA also; but in the Tampa area....any chance you've used a tile with BERWYN that you can suggest? I have wood at all areas off of the kitchen, so I prefer not a wood look tile. Greys seem to "cold"...and it is a large space...about 600 SF. Just FYI, I'm also in between selecting white or white with a light grey glaze for the cabinets if that helps. Photos are above....somewhere.

Jo C - the sink is Silgranit from Blanco- very happy with it. Pricing about the same as stainless & way less care. My drain is not off center (I got a 1/3 divided sink rather than one big one). They have many models though.

my kitchen project is finally underway. Thank you all for your previous comments and discussion. Now I'm struggling to find a neutral Gray paint that is not purple and will allow for blue accents. the Sherwin-Williams suggestions for matching Berwyn do not appeal to me. any suggestions? white cabinets with a light gray wash, the flooring is 12 by 24 tile shown above the Berwyn and a beveled subway tile for the backsplash is shown also.

We have SW Anew Gray with our Berwyn countertops, but maybe you already looked at that one. There are so many grays, it's overwhelming!

thanks Katie. I will check that. I do not think I've looked at that but rather focused on variations of the Sherwin-Williams recommendations. so, back to the start of this conversation do you see green in your Berwyn? I do in my sample but I'm hoping to minimize it in my kitchen.

So Cambria suggests revere pewter BM, I am assuming that's the color you don't care for? And for sure theres green in Berwyn, I have it.

I don't see green in my Berwyn BUT as previously mentioned in another Berwyn thread, it can vary from slab to slab. If at all possible, take a look at the slab before it is fabricated. I see more grays and whites in our counter. My concerns with Berwyn were the "gold sparkle". I worked with the fabricator and we laid it out to avoid those areas. I used Sherwin williams Oyster white for the walls - my kitchen is quite bright with large windows. Oyster white looks like a light gray in some light and a neutral off white in other colors. There are many many pictures of kitchens with Berwyn on the other thread - title is something about looking for pictures of Berwyn.

thank you. I will look at the oyster white also. I'm honestly very surprised to hear that a fabricated product can vary so much an appearance. but I know that depends also on the lighting in the surrounding product colors and finishes.

I dont see green either. Mine is predominately gray with beige throughout

Project was completed and all inspections approved at 3PM on March 14. Company arrived at 5PM for a week so I am just now taking a minute to write. Love, love, love my Cambria Berwyn. My eyes see a slight olivish green; maybe today it would be called a darker greige, but it in no way dictates the overall color or accent color. Here are a couple of before and after pictures of the new kitchen space. We moved the entire cooking area of the kitchen, so the new kitchen is actually on a wall that had the desk, doorway and storage.

I used 2 jumbo slabs of the Berwyn (along with Cambria Dunmore)

and was not disappointed to see that they were both entirely different. There is not a pattern "repeat" so to speak that I almost expected with a manmade product. Now I just need to sell my table, etc. to make room for the planned seating area with the TV, recover the barstools, etc. etc. Thanks to all for your help during this project.

jo c - lovely kitchen. I agree - its more of a greige in Berwyn. We love it in our kitchen too - have received many compliments. Almost 2 years since it was installed, I wonder why I lost so much sleep over that decision.

eageree, I agree. I wasted way too much time second-guessing my gut feeling an initial choice on this Cambria Berwyn. It is simply perfect.... At least her us. It is very neutral greys, whites, beige / tan , and a terrific silver Sparkle here in there that I just love. It easily allows for any accent color to be used. just FYI there is a great discussion and a variety of photos if you look here on houzz and select something like 'how green is Cambria Berwyn.'

As an alternative to all these gorgeous white kitchens and Berwyn, we went with dark wood and a stacked stone backsplash as well as stainless. The Berwyn looks just as gorgeous with these materials. We do not see any green in ours...perhaps a greige-ish coloring here and there. The sparkle is fantastic and works wonderfully with the stainless appliances and Blanco metallic gray silgranite sink we have. We love this counter and plan to use it in our master bath with white cabinets....so glad to see the above pics and confirm how beautiful it will be with that as well.

Would a few of you mind sharing a photo of your seam in Berwyn. I am very unhappy with mine and would like to know if I'm being way too picky. Thank you.

I am so sorry. I have nothing to share with a seam. My island is 119" and does NOT have a seam. You need to know if you agreed to a seam. If they used the same slab, I would think the slab could have been nearly seamlessly done. Perhaps they used different pieces? ..Or were just sloppy. Do you have a picture to show?

both our island and regular counter doesn't have a seam either...I know we were just under the measurement for a seam. Posting a pic would probably be helpful for us to give you advice on what may/may not look normal.

I have one seam. I think it blends well. It is more noticeable closer to the back splash

I have two seams in my L shape counter. The first is between the two knobs in the picture. The second is diagonal from the sink to the wall. I actually have to feel for it because it’s so hard to see.

I’m sorry I didn’t see your question sooner. According to the paperwor, my backsplash is Glazzio, crystile seties 4”x12” color Fog CO3 in an offset pattern. Hope this helps.

Jo C - What did you end up doing with the Cambria Dunmore in your kitchen? I am considering using Berwyn on the island with grey cabinets and Dunmore on white cabinets along the perimeter.

Really late to this post but I have Berwyn in my kitchen. If you stand and stare at it, yes bits of it do read green. Still a beautiful countertop.

stasyward- Darn, I wrote earlier and sent 5 pictures. Not sure why they are not here, but I will now try again. I have 2 isolated cabinet designs on which I used the Dunmore. It is very nice with my white cabinets that have a grey glaze and equally nice in the adjacent pool bath where I have a white vanity. Maybe the pics help...if not let me know what you need. The Berwyn will be stunning with Grey cabinets! You will LOVE it as will everyone who sees it! I will say YUMELIZABETH that mine does have a very slight green in some spots...if I look for it, but it is not an issue AT ALL. Interestingly also, I have 2 slabs and I cannot find a repeat pattern of any sort anywhere....and I have looked. So, it seems each slab is different.

Thank you. I think so and it is just a very neutral color. Trust me if you like Berwyn from a small slab you will absolutely love it when it is installed.

jo c - can I see a photo of your backsplash? I have Berwyn counters and white cabinets but am still struggling to find a backsplash.

Here you go. This second picture shows the white cabinet, the Berwyn, the subway grey tile and a piece of the Dunmore which I also used and the largest piece is my flooring. Disregard the tan color on the bottom left. This sample of the Berwyn actually shows way more green than my slabs which is what initially caused me concern. I still have a box and it says FUSION DECOR, Weather Grey Bevel. Size is 3X12. Hope this helps.

We have Berwyn Countertops & Cream Cabinets! In process of picking out backsplash. I want to go with a beige beveled subway tile to pull out the subtle beige in the countertops. Any suggestions? Our kitchen walls are painted Filmy Green by Sherwin Williams. Thanks!

Kim, I have a white backsplash with Berwyn, I am aware of the beige undertones but It better be subtle, Try white, beige, possibly light gray and maybe some kind of a green. Berwyn reminds me of oysters on a half shell.

Kim, I agree with Smiley. Oysters on a half shell is perfect!!! Any chance that you have photos of your cabinets and paint? When I hear Cream, I think of something with a yellow cast. The green in my Cambria is honestly non-existent; however, it has been 2 years so there is always a chance the new Cambria has changed a bit with recent manufacturing? I have several pictures above of the finished kitchen and they actually look very true to actual colors; altho my cabinets have a light grey wash which cannot be seen.

I have soft white kitchen cabinets and this is my pick for countertop and backsplash. The backsplash is Marlow Desert.
