Rarely do I look at brick exteriors and think paint...painted brick is an oxymoron. But your French Revival house would look so good in a limestone color and dark trim.

I agree that your house would look stunning in a cream or light gray painted brick with a black or red door.

I love your house! I'd never paint your brick, but would possibly add black shutters to the 4 sets of front windows, but go with something that looks like plank. I'd also add two planters with tall scuplted bushes to flank your front door. Go to houzz.com and enter under products "exterior shutters" . daVinci shutters has a great selection! Good luck. Yes, looking for plank shutters. Not sure if I can swing painting the brick, but for sure start with the trim. Thinking lime wash if I do the brick. I love the landscaping ideas.

I think you should paint your door a accent color. I like the idea of window boxes as well, that will give your home a bit of dimension.
