Hey everyone,

I need some advice. We're putting in some custom shelving for our livingroom.

But the doors to the flat are a red undertone, and our initial pick of shelf color is lighter and doesn't match.

I'm partial to the yellowish Muji wood furniture, which also doesn't match.

Our shelving design is pretty elaborate and will span the space between the main entrance and the kitchen door.

I'd like to hear some ideas of what kind of wood/ color our shelf should be. What would go well with these doors? Should I be too worried that it would end up clashing colors? Or will I just fill up the shelf, and it will even itself out? Thanks everyone.
