My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    This is Quartzite. Its called Aquasol and its honed in this project. Its can be hard to find, but its stunning.

    The stone is gorgeous! I've seen it polished, but not honed--love it. I have new natural cherry low sheen flat panel cabinets and was thinking about Aquasol...do you think it would hold up to a leathered finish?

    I think it will certainly hold up, but the stone is pretty busy itself so you just have to know that your adding even more texture to a surface that is already very busy visually. If that is what you want, I think it could look really amazing. Are you in Chicago? I know a couple people who have been able to get it for us in the past, but its been tricky.
