We have been back and forth about the house color. We are now down to the wire and need to decide. Originally, we thought of a butter yellow (woodland cream Hardie board siding) but worry the white trim may not contrast enough. We then thought about some variation of gray... but with so much gray on the shingled roof... we worry it will be too bland. (and too "cool" looking without enough warmth. We have 5 elementary aged kiddos... so, am looking for warm and inviting...and fun! Im not in to blue. My style is is a mix- industrial, farmhouse, modern...if that is a thing! LOL :) Thought about red, but worry it will not have a warm (relaxed) feel. Also thought about shutters (black if we were going with the woodland cream Hardie. I am now thinking of doing a vinyl board and batten or shake. I LOVE the look of two tones, different txtures, and stone/ brick. I just CANT picture anything in my head and its a HUGE decision that I need to live with for a while. Any help is HUGELY appreciated! Here is our new home we are building... trying to upload photo...
