Angled window dilemma!

we prefer not to cover up the lake view in our living room, however the sun comes directly in and its extremely hot in this room and the sun creates a glare. Is it possible to have a sheer curtain bundled in the corner so its not very obvious? what kind of hardware would be used to slide the curtain across when needed...and keep it in place on a sloping window? Thanks so much for your help!

you may want to consider having UV films applied to the inside of your windows. In addition to that, there are traverse rods that can be hung on an angle with individual carriers. You will probably want help from a local professional, this is not an easy treatment to engineer or install.

looks like a beautiful room, by the way... from what I can see. And NICE view!! Properly designed window treatments are a must.

Beautiful view! Would you consider blinds such as cellular, which can tuck more out of the way than a curtain? There are blinds that are seminsheer, and also top down - bottom up, which might be good to give you coverage when you need it and a view all the rest of the time.

I love the look of long pleated curtains that show the height of the room. Once I get the rod figured out I would probably do a very light, block-out custom curtain.
